Lesson plan
Introduction
During the first 15 minutes of the lesson, we will as a group, introduce what side of media we have been working on and explain what research we have done and also what we have learnt throughout the research period. We will give a brief description on different theories we have looked at and also what it was like to live in an age without internet or any sort of fancy technology that we possess today.
Task 1
For the first task we will be doing a wordsearch which we as a group will design which will be a tough test for the other students. We want to make sure that this task will help teach the other students new words, which will stick in their memory when it comes to revision. There will be around 10-15 words in the crossword/word find. We hope this will take round 15 minutes to complete and they will be working either in pairs on in groups of three.
Task 2
We will have a brainstorming activity where we will ask questions to the audience that relates to the lesson. They will be questions like How has the internet had an impact on the music industry? How has the Internet had an impact on the Gaming industry? Has the impact of this been a step forward or a step backwards for the industries? In the future what do you think will happen to these industries? This will help conclude the lesson.
